Walking the Walk: Trail Work and Belay Platform Upgrades at Paramount Pinnacle

Updated: Oct 24

This season, significant trail work and belay platform repairs were completed at Paramount Pinnacle in Camp Hale National Monument, thanks to the hard work of volunteers, VVMTA, local guiding companies like ATGI, and the invaluable support of the U.S. Forest Service.

Together, we stabilized eroded trails to improve access and safety for climbers, while repairing and building new belay platforms to minimize environmental impact. We are incredibly grateful for the collaboration with these partners and give a special shout-out to the amazing volunteers whose dedication made this project possible, ensuring a safer and more sustainable outdoor experience for everyone.
